Pie In The Park

The highlight of the trip to Grosvenor Park was the discovery by the Pieman of a Pie stall amongst all the different tents and displays. The Pieman selected the Steak, Brandy and Cracked Peppercorn Pie for testing.

We were not dis-appointed with this excellent offering and were sorely tempted by the Pheasant, Blue Cheese and Chardonnay example available.

Unfortunately information about these Pies was scarce. Although the stall holder informed the pieman that they were available regularly at the Farmers markets at Chester (Town Hall Square) and the Grosvenor Garden Centre (Pulford).

Some research leads us to believe they are produced by a Nercwys (Mr & Mrs Pieman Spent first night of married Life in Nercwys!!!) based company called Harvie's. Ltd. No website at present exists though.
