Bikeathon

For the second year the family Pie attempted and completed the Chester Bikeathon in aid of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. All bikes this year were in working order and we started slightly ahead of our alotted time.

A downpour ensued and we all got soaked but the wind and our exertions eventually dried us.

The weather was very changeable but didn't prevent everyone having a good time. Another downpour at the half way Point (Pub) did little to dampen our spirits and by the finish the sun was blazing. The only problem of the day? Lunch was provided at the end of the ride with a medal but not a Pie in sight!!
