On our way home from Lincolnshire we had to make a vist to sunny Salford so went via Holmfirth, the pretty little town on the edge of the Peak District National where "Last of the Summer Wine" was filmed.A pilgrimage was made to the wonderful Sids Cafe where the pieman, forgoing Pie, waded into some serious jam, cream and scones mmmmmmmmm. Pictured below, giving her best Nora scowl, is superpie girl sitting on the steps between Nora Batty's house and Compo's.
