Bank Holiday Weekend saw the tribe and friends head for Liverpool and the Matthew Street Festival. Principally six stages around the city centre with a variety of themes including Beatles, Motown, Rock, Alternative, etc with original artists and cover bands. As well as these there were plenty of buskers, street artistes, markets, display, exhibitions and all sorts of things going on.
One of the best features is that a large number of the roads are closed off to traffic which makes wandering about much more pleasant and most of it is free! We had a great time and the only bad thing was the weather which started raining towards the end of the afternoon.
